Grass Smash at Harmon Park Was a Hit!

What a day! Our Grass Smash Volleyball Tournament at Harmon Park was an absolute success—and we couldn’t be more stoked about the turnout and energy from our amazing community.

We welcomed 17 teams and 68 total participants for a full day of competitive volleyball action. From fierce rallies to laid-back sideline hangouts, the event was packed with good vibes, great weather, and some seriously awesome talent.

A massive shoutout to our champions:

🏆 Upper Gold Bracket Winners: Ryan Hasvold, Matt Jeske, Kaytlin Wearne, and Cassie (team name pending—we’ll let them brag in the comments 😎)

🥈 Upper Silver Bracket Winners: Jenny O'Brien, Kendra Ampe, Justin Hornsby, and Cody Smith

🌱 Lower Bracket Winners: Elisa Becker, Brancen Wright, Olivia Nelson, and Kevin Shinohara

We also want to give a huge thank you to everyone who played, volunteered, or just stopped by to see what HDVA is all about. Events like this remind us exactly why we do what we do—to bring people together through sport, support, and community.
